Got questions? Hopefully we can answer them here.

The basics.

What is CBD?

Cannabidiol – better known as CBD – is just one of over 85 different naturally occurring cannabinoid compounds derived from the hemp plant. Depending on the extraction method, there are varying degrees of purity. For instance, isolate is considered one of the purest forms of CBD because traces of other cannabinoids are deliberately removed. This ensures that there are no psychoactive elements such as THC in the finished product.

What are the benefits of CBD?

Your body has an endocannabinoid system – ECS for short – that helps maintain your overall health and wellness. As the name indicates, this system interacts effectively with cannabinoids like CBD because it already comes equipped with CB1 and CB2 receptors. The ECS ultimately assists the regulation of the kidneys, pancreas, eyes, skin, liver, reproductive system, immune system, and cardiovascular system. Many studies also suggest that a balanced ECS can even improve memory, appetite, stress response, immune and nervous function, energy retention, metabolism and sleep. The Bottom Line: CBD has the potential to enhance your quality of life!

What is "Nano" CBD?

Nano technology today allows compounds like CBD to be broken down into smaller particles, increasing its bioavailability. In fact, the standard CBD molecule is 2,000 nanometers in size while nano-emulsified CBD is nearly 40 times smaller. In other words, nano-emulsified CBD passes through the barrier to our bloodstream with greater ease than the standard molecule, increasing the absorption rate of each dose from 20-35% to 80-90% so users have the potential to feel relief faster and more effectively.

What is Delta-8?

The latest addition to our cannabinoid products features Delta-8 Tetrahydrocannabinol (Delta-8). Although Delta-8 can demonstrate psychotropic properties, we test all our products to make sure they do not have Delta-9 THC concentrations that exceed the legal limit of 0.3%.

Please Note: We encourage users to be mindful when using any Delta-8 products because effects can vary.

What is THCV?

The lesser-known delta-8 THCV is a double bond isomer of the more common delta-9 THC. Although it might not have the same strength of delta-9, delta-8 THCV still has the ability of producing a high, with added therapeutic benefits. As with any hemp derived product, a drug test may or may not show a positive reading for Delta-9 THC.

This product contains a total Delta-9 THC concentration that does not exceed 0.3% on a dry-weight basis.

What is CBG and CBN?

Other up-and-coming superstars in the CBD industry are Cannabigerol (CBG) and Cannabinol (CBN). CBG is sometimes called the “mother of cannabinoids” because it is the base molecule from which other phytocannabinoids are formed. CBN is a cannabinoid that forms when CBD breaks down through oxidation. Both of these compounds help balance your internal rhythms by working with the CB receptors of your endocannabinoid system.

Product education.

How do I know these products are safe?

Independent 3rd-party testing from GMP-certified labs are conducted before and after the production process to review the potency, quality, and safety of our products. To maintain transparency with our customers, lab results for every batch are readily available on our site. Simply scan the QR code printed on our packages for access to this information.

Which CBD product is right for me?

CBD is easy to integrate into any daily routine because there are a variety of products available to meet the needs of different individuals. Whether you are a traveling entrepreneur who needs relief on-the-go or an athlete in training who desires a quick recovery after a workout, you can find a product that suits you. Pet-owners will be happy to know that we even make CBD goodies for dogs and cats so they can also enjoy benefits such as improved neuro health, joint function, digestive function, skin and mood.

How much CBD should I use or take for the first time?

The effects of CBD vary because tolerance differs from person to person. Generally speaking, starting with a smaller dosage and increasing the amount gradually will help you become more familiar with how your body responds. Do keep in mind that consistency is crucial for your body to become acclimated. Please Note: If you have a pre-existing medical condition or use other medications, consult your healthcare professional prior to use.

Is CBD safe for my pet?

CBD and hemp have been used to help animals for quite a long time. Since it doesn't have any psychoactive effects, it's a natural way to relieve your pet of some pain and discomfort.

How should I store my Sublinguals?

Our Sublinguals last longer when stored in a cool, dark place. Exposure to heat or light can cause the active ingredients to degrade prematurely. The fridge or a dark cabinet is the best place to keep your oil fresh. As long as you keep it sealed and out of reach of children or pets.

How should I store my Gummies?

Our CBD and Delta-8 gummies last longer when stored in a cool, dark place. Exposure to heat or light can cause the gummies to melt together, or worse, it can cause the CBD or Delta-8 to degrade prematurely. The fridge is the best place to keep your treats fresh. We recommend keeping them sealed in their jar and out of reach from children or pets.

The nitty-gritty.

Is CBD legal to purchase or do I need a medical card?

Hemp-derived CBD is federally legal in all 50 states. As such, you do not need a medical card in order to purchase our products. Rest assured, our company goes the extra mile to ensure that our CBD line not only meets all government standards but is also safe for your use. We do so by submitting every batch we make to a third-party lab for purity and potency testing. The results are always available on our website for your review.

Will these products show up on a drug test?

As per federal regulations, CBD products made by Creating Better Days “contain a total Delta-9 THC concentration that does not exceed 0.3% on a dry-weight basis.” This is because we only use cannabinoid compounds that are obtained using modern methods such as supercritical CO2 extraction and nano-emulsification technology.

Although Delta-8 and THCV can demonstrate psychotropic properties, we test all our products to make sure they do not have Delta-9 THC concentrations that exceed the legal limit of 0.3%. There is not sufficient data to say definitively, but Delta-8 THC and THCV metabolites may trigger many drug tests looking for delta-9 THC metabolites. As a precaution, you should not take these products if you need to pass a drug test.

QUICK ANSWER: Our CBD products will not make you fail a THC drug test. As a precaution, you should not take Delta-8 or THCV if you need to pass a THC drug test.

Will these products impair my ability to function normally?

Unlike tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive compound. In fact, all our products undergo rigorous testing to make sure they have less than the legal limit as per federal regulations, ensuring that our customers will not get high from using our CBD items. CBD spectrums and other cannabinoid compounds like CBG and CBN do not cause any psychotropic effects.

As for Delta-8 and THCV, there have been no long-term, definitive studies on the effects of either, and nothing that follows is medical advice.

Although they might not have the same strength of delta-9 THC,  THCV and Delta-8 products still have the ability of producing a high, with added therapeutic benefits. We do not suggest in any way, shape, or form, that your experience will be the same or the same as anyone else's. There is no sufficient data to say definitively, but THCV & Delta-8 metabolites may trigger many drug tests looking for delta-9 THC metabolites. As a precaution, you should not take this product if you need to pass a drug test. No Creating Better Days products contain a total Delta-9 THC concentration that exceeds 0.3% on a dry-weight basis.
